Accurate analysis of crosstalk between LP11 degenerate modes due to offset connection using exact eigenmodes

    Abstract

    The crosstalk between LP11 degenerate modes due to offset connection is accurately analyzed using exact eigenmodes and it is shown the propagation characteristics of few-mode fibers must be analyzed by eigenmode not by LP mode.
